We seem to be doing lots to Chubbs' bed these days, no? Our dear son has recently started hoisting himself up to standing by using the bed rails. Wa?! And he's happy just slumping both arms over the rails, chilling out.
Ever the cautious parents, we want to eliminate the slightest chance of him falling out; so something needs to be done about the situation... sofort!
We lowered the base of the bed to the last notch possible, i.e., the toddler bed setting. We also further padded the bed frame with baby pillows so that the damage done to that noggin' of his is minimised, when he self-sacrificially exucutes his daily crash-test dummy routine.
At the rate we are going with the padding, I fear Chubbs will soon not have very much of a bed left :/
