At 9-Months Plus

Little Mae is growing up. It breaks my heart just a bit, typing that. Over the past week, my baby girl has pulled herself up to standing, stands steadily, and started to chase after toys while crawling. She now says, "Kor!" in a high-pitched call, whenever she catches sight of Chubbs, sounding much like a bird. Cutest of all, has learnt how to clap, and wave when she hears the word, "bye".

Chubbs has realised that Mae is a lot of fun to play with, now that she's so mobile. They wrestle, race each other to toys, and the best thing is, he makes her laugh out loud. It's such great fun watching them. I love my kids.

My Little Girl Turns 9-Months Old!

At 9-months, she has just started crawling confidently, and it's the cutest thing :) I love watching her every move. And I'm not alone in that. Big brother Chubbs adores her to bits. Tonight, as I was trying to put him to sleep, he heard her tossing and turning in bed, he leapt to her side, and starting humming the lullaby.

Kor-Kor is her hero, and quite possibly her favourite person in the world. And that makes me happier than anything.

Beetroot

I made little Mae a huge batch of yummy beetroot puree today; sweet potato, butternut squash and beetroot.  It was Mae's first time trying the sweet root veg, and she loved it. Hey, even I like it. It was creamy, sweet and best of all, packed with anti-oxidants!
