Organic vs. Non-Organic

I've been researching on whether it's really necessary to consume organic foods (bad economy now) so I can feed Chubbs better. I've tabulated a list of the foods that we should buy organic if we can afford to, and what foods are ok if non-organic. This is based on the amount of pesticide residue the food carries. Thought it'd be useful for all to know.

Preferably Organic
Apples, oranges, peaches, cherries, pears, strawberry, carrots, celery, sweet bell peppers, nectarines, squash, cucumbers, green beans, potatoes, mushrooms, cantaloupe, lettuce, spinach, grapes.

Non-Organic ok
Broccoli, orange juice, blueberries, papaya, cabbage, bananas, kiwis, canned and fresh tomatoes, sweet peas, asparagus, mangoes, pineapples, sweet corn, avocado, onions, raspberries, plums, grapefuits, apple sauce and juice, honeydew, sweet potatoes, watermelon, cauliflower, eggplant.

Some websites have different lists based on which country the research is done and where they get their produce from. So this is an all-encompassing compilation of what I've read over a few days.

 "Happy eating!"
