Chubbs goes through phases when he loves one food, and will ask for it every meal. This lasts a week or two, and he'll switch to not wanting even a shred of it anywhere. I've read about the eating behaviour in numerous websites and books, and it seems like quite common amongst toddlers.
So the flavour of the week for Chubbs is, cheese. He asks for pasta with cheese, bread with cheese, cheese straight... for breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper... He's tried loads of different cheeses and different brands, but his favourite supermarket cheese by far is Coon's Tasty Cheese; it's an Australian product and tastes just like cheddar. It's all-natural, i.e. no colouring, or preservatives added, and relatively inexpensive. For variety, I alternate Coon with Mini Babybel or Bonbel; small round mounds of mild cheese wrapped in red/ orange/ purple-coloured wax. They are great to take on the road in an insulated container because the wax helps them travel well. It's fun for kids because the the different colours and the wax packaging keeps the mess at bay.

Chilling, waiting for his meal.
Cheese-mouth.
Very, very happy after his cheesy dose.
